Please join us on Tuesday, April 23rd at Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center as we hear from US Senator James Lankford. Senator Lankford will be discussing his role on the Senate Finance Committee and will provide a general D.C. update as well. The Senate Finance Committee concerns itself with matters relating to: taxation and other revenue measures generally, bonded debt of the United States; customs, collection districts, and ports of entry and delivery; reciprocal trade agreements; tariff and import quotas, and related matters thereto; the transportation of dutiable goods and much more. Senator Lankford also severs as chairman of the Regulatory Affairs and Federal Management Subcommittee. The role of this committee is to cover federal spending, regulatory reform, and the federal workforce. He believes that the federal government has an important role in our nation, but empowers families, individual people, and private businesses to grow our economy and pass down our values. James was recognized as the Senate’s top-ranked “Taxpayers Friend” by the National Taxpayers Union for his strong record in support of lower taxes, limited government, and economic freedom. As Oklahoma's 3rd largest manufacturing hub, Broken Arrow relies on our manufacturers and their supporters to continue to grow and support our local economy. We are excited to have Senator Lankford in our community to speak on trends, changes, and regulations in the industry. This is sure to be an event you do not want to miss!
