Event Description:
This luncheon will present our Economic Outlook for 2023 featuring Dr. Russell Evans. Dr. Evans recently joined the Thorberg Collectorate, where he serves as Partner and Chief Economist. He is also President of the collectorate’s Regional Economic Advisers division. Thorberg Collectorate is an opportunistic private equity firm specializing in bringing alternative investments to a growing Oklahoma investor base.  As the Collectorate’s chief economist, Dr. Evans closely monitors national and regional economic conditions to inform the firm’s investment thesis.  The collectorate’s Regional Economic Advisers division consults regularly with municipalities, financial institutions, and industry groups.
 Dr. Evans has taught economics at Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma, having served previously as interim dean of the Meinders School of Business. 

After lunch and the Economic Outlook, we will present our Amplify Broken Arrow Economic Development Awards.  As we all know, Economic Development is not an organization, it is an action and it takes an entire community participating and investing to make it successful. The Amplify BA Awards recognize individuals, businesses, and organizations who have made a significant contribution to Broken Arrow through their economic development efforts. 

This will be a slightly longer program than usual, so mark your calendar from 11:15am - 1:30pm. We hope to see you there!
